The Yoga Bohemian

Due to the current ever-changing nature of our lives during the covid-19 pandemic, my sessions are changing monthly so keep checking back to make sure you're up to date with the latest schedule...

See below for more information on ZOOM and how you can use it to join me in practice...

When joining a live practice in your own home, I am asked by my insurers to state that it is your responsibility to make sure you have a suitable environment in which to practice, free from obstructions and with enough space for you to perform any movements safely.

:: Using Zoom to Join a Practice ::

Zoom is an app previously used for corporate online meetings and video calls - however, since the start of the Covid-19 crisis, it has become one of the most widely-used platforms for all sorts of fitness and well-being groups to meet and practice together...

It is available on Apple and Android, Mac and PC so that means you've got plenty of options for how to join the meeting and where you do your practice. On a mobile device, this can be found in the relevant app store. on a Mac or PC, you can find the app at https://zoom.us/download#client_4meeting

It's completely free so all you have to do is download the app on your chosen device(s) and make an account. Once that's done, when you book a session, you will receive a link for the meeting and a passcode which you will need to use to enter.

Try and join the meeting at least 5 minutes before the practice is about to start, just in case of any technical issues and to give yourself time to "fully arrive at your practice"

When you enter the meeting, you'll automatically be put into the "waiting room" until I let you in. This ensures the security of all participants and makes sure that no-one can get in that shouldn't be! however, if you get kicked off the meeting for any reason (ie internet connection issues - I'll never kick you out don't worry!!!) that does mean that you will end up back in the waiting room for a few moments before I notice and let you back in - as you can appreciate, during a practice, my focus isn't always on the screen so your patience is appreciated in this case...

My zoom sessions are currently held on Saturday mornings at 8:30am
